Ch 4. Promised Land: His Rest

“…whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.”

Even after being born again, there is still an effort we must put to enter into God's Promised Rest— it's not as automatic as many believe it is. In this study we will see how we have to believe, just as it was with the Israelites who came out of Egypt. God intended not only to bring them out of Egypt but also to bring them into the land of promise, but it didn't happen, because of their unbelief (see Heb. 3:19).
